How we work

We Understand the Problem
Before We Write the Code

Our process is iterative, collaborative, and built around one principle: software should solve your problem, not create new ones. Here’s how we work — from first conversation to finished product.

We follow Agile software development best practices — which means we work in short, focused cycles, deliver working software early and often, and keep you closely involved throughout. You’re not handing us a spec and waiting six months. You’re working with us.

At every stage, you have visibility into what we’re building, the opportunity to give feedback, and the ability to adjust course. The result is software that fits your needs precisely — because you helped shape it every step of the way.

Phase 01

Discovery

We ask hard questions

Every engagement begins with discovery — a structured phase where we invest real time in understanding your problem before recommending any solution. We talk to stakeholders, observe workflows, ask uncomfortable questions, and map out the full shape of the challenge.

Most of our clients tell us the discovery phase alone is valuable — it forces a clarity about the problem that they didn’t have before. That’s intentional. We’d rather surface complexity early, when it’s cheap to address, than discover it mid-build when it’s expensive.

Discovery results in a shared understanding of the problem, a proposed approach, and a realistic scope. Nothing gets built until we’re aligned.

What comes out of discovery
  • Problem definition and success criteria
  • User research and workflow analysis
  • Technical feasibility assessment
  • Proposed architecture and approach
  • Scope, timeline, and investment estimate
Phase 02

Architecture & Design

We design before we build

With the problem understood, we design the system — the architecture, the data model, the user experience, and the technical stack. We make these decisions deliberately, based on your specific requirements, not on habit or convenience.

You’re involved at every decision point. We show you wireframes, discuss technology choices in plain language, and walk you through the architecture before we start building. If something doesn’t feel right, this is the time to say so.

We also think ahead. The systems we design are built to grow — to handle more users, more data, more features — without requiring a rebuild when you need to scale.

What comes out of this phase
  • System architecture documentation
  • UX wireframes and interaction design
  • Technology stack selection with rationale
  • Data model and API design
  • Development roadmap with milestones
Phase 03

Iterative Build

Agile, collaborative, visible

We build in short, focused cycles, delivering working software at the end of each one. You see real functionality early, test it against real scenarios, and give feedback that shapes the next cycle.

This isn’t a handoff process. You’re a participant in the build, not a spectator. Your feedback directly influences what gets built next, and we adjust course based on what we learn as the software takes shape in the real world.

We hold regular reviews, maintain a transparent backlog, and never disappear for weeks at a time. If something changes on your end — requirements shift, priorities change — we adapt. That’s the point of working this way.

How we keep you in the loop
  • Working software delivered at the end of each cycle
  • Regular reviews with your team
  • Transparent backlog you can see and contribute to
  • Direct access to the team — no account managers in the way
Phase 04

Delivery & Beyond

We stay in it

When the software ships, the relationship doesn’t end. We support what we build, monitor what matters, and stay available when things need attention. Most of our clients have been with us across multiple projects — that’s not an accident.

We handle deployment, app store submission, and launch coordination. We document what we’ve built so you’re never dependent on our memory. And we stay close enough to your business that when the next challenge emerges, we already understand the context.

What delivery looks like
  • Deployment to production environments
  • App store submission and approval support
  • Technical documentation and handoff materials
  • Ongoing support and maintenance availability
  • Post-launch monitoring and issue response
